We are an artisanal perfume lab in Lisbon dedicated to creating truly personalised fragrances. Not just initials on a bottle — but a scent that captures the essence of you. OPAR means “a pair” in Portuguese — o par — and beautifully carries meanings across other languages: in Polish, a fragrant haze; in Hindi, a sense of looking above. In our lab, you step into the role of perfumer. We become your nose guides, helping you craft a fragrance that feels intimate, instinctive, and unmistakably yours. A scent that finally smells like you.
OUR FOUNDER
Meet Karolina
Karol didn’t start in perfume. She spent years in marketing and product development, studying why certain moments stick and why others disappear. But scent kept pulling at her. Every memory she loved had a smell attached to it, so she began learning the craft the slow way: raw materials, structure, skin chemistry, and the quiet work of building something that feels like recognition.
We make time stand still for a moment
Our craft is slow by design. You blind test to remove expectations and follow instinct instead. We mix on your skin, build the structure, find balance, and label your bottle by hand. Your formula is stored so you can refill easily or adjust a few notes when life asks for something new. It is perfume as authorship rather than a quick fix.
